Hi.  Just installed Lite 5.0.  The items in the whisker menu display according to function -- e.g., Thunderbird displays as "Mail Client."  I want it to display as "Thunderbird."  Can this be done?  Thanks.

Yes, it is possible to do what you want. Right-click on the item you want to change, i.e Thunderbird, select edit application or some similar wording from the context menu and change it from Mail Client to Thinderbird repeat the process for each and every other item you wish to change as well.

I also discovered that if you right clock on the word "Menu" on the taskbar, then click on Properties, there's an option "Show generic application names."  Uncheck, and the problem is solved.  I discovered that just a moment ago.

Yeah, that too and you can do much more than that within that properties settings. Glad you sorted it out and learnt new things on your own too! Remember to mark the thread as solved.
