| Installer does not offer to choose MBR partition. |

Hello, english is not my native language, I am sorry for my bad grammar. I got an old laptop (2009 year). It does not recognize GPT at all.
I created a bootable usb stick in MBR and successfully installed the OS. However, after the installation,i cannot boot anymore to the drive, where the OS is installed, because the installer created a GPT partition by default. It is not offering the choice of what kind of partition table to create. Even if booted in legacy, it still make only GPT partition table . There is no option in manual partition to set it to MBR.
question: Is there a way to install this OS to a MBR only device?
Laptop model: Toshiba Satellite L550.
Bios: phoenix secureCore Tiano v2.20
UPD: i have solved my issue. You can close this thread.

Hiya!
I've installed LL 6.2 on a Lenovo laptop, it seems to be ok except the following:
hitting <shift> 2 gives the @ symbol instead of "
hitting <shift> ' gives " instead of @
the number keys on the main keyboard all work except 7, which does nothing
Numlock seems to be ok - the keypad area toggles between numbers and the movement keys when I hit Numlock
I've tried the virtual / onscreen keyboard, all keys work ok on that.
Can anyone tell me which of the keyboard options I should set?
Cheers and TIA!
The trackpad is misbehaving too, that's next on my list

Heya! Fairly newbie here...
Just installed Linux Lite 6.2 on a Lersenovo laptop, all seems ok so far except there's no option to enable wifi in the networking menu box. When I go to edit connections, the wifi connection is there, but how do I enable it?? I've connected to my router with a cable and that works fine, and I've downloaded and installed all the updates, but still no wifi :-(
Any suggestions?
Cheers, Peter

I recently got a reMarkable for note writing, and found a linux desktop app here: https://snapcraft.io/remarkable-desktopI got it installed, but can't seem to find it. Tried reinstalling and get: snap "remarkable-desktop" is already installed, see 'snap help refresh'Not sure what to look for!Any help would be great...When I try to find it with the application finder, nothing shows up when I type "remarkable"
