UEFI BIOS? - Monkeyman - 07-17-2016 I don't really understand the UEFI thing (I'm not as smart as I look ). All I think I know is that Jerry doesn't like it and LL doesn't use it? I don't care one way or another but can I use a mobo with UEFI BIOS? I'm about to order http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131874 and want to make sure I can use it.
Re: UEFI BIOS? - torreydale - 07-18-2016 You can. To avoid the UEFI issues, it would be best to disable Secure Boot (UEFI) in the BIOS and/or enable Legacy Boot. Re: UEFI BIOS? - richtea - 07-18-2016 Got UEFI with Intel NUC (see my spec); works alright with LL. Installation was a bit tricky. I do not like it: Tick. Legacy Boot: Tick. Good luck! |
