This will list the repositories the system is set to use. Please post the results back as from the report, there are a couple of issues with your set up.

1) The system is trying to update nvidia drivers from a file. This is unexpected.
Have you followed any instructions about nvidia which may have started this ?

2) The system is trying to update from a canonical archive source.
Have you recently run the lite tweak utility called 'Package System Repair' ?

For Issue (1) the nvidia file based problem.
You need to undo or correct whatever instructions you followed that involved adding the nvidia-driver-local-ubuntu2204-535.104.12.list to your apt sources list.

Issue (2) the Canonical archive entry problem.
This probably got added when you ran Package System Repair. To fix this.

Click Menu and type 'software & updates' into the search box - when you see 'Software & Updates' offered as a choice, click on it
Select 'Other Software' tab
Uncheck any entries for 'http://archive.canonical.com/ noble'
Enter your password when asked
Click Close and then Reload to refresh the cache
When complete, retry the update/upgrade

did not work. Failed to lupdate cache. thanks for your input. I was looking for a new OS to replace windows 10. It been more then 10 years since i used linux. So im just going to do a fresh install and play around with it after. leaned my lesson. again thanks
