Internet isn't working

I have installedlatest linux lite yesterday and now i cant connect to internet.i tried using useb tethering but no luck.please help.

My Samsung Galaxy works as a hotspot on my Linux-Lite installs going back to versions 2.8. So probably a phone setting blocking your tethering in settings.
Check  your phone settings is my guess.
Because my Android version is probably the same as yours. I also share files but use Airdroid instead of the usb cable on mutiple computer installs. Just easier to do.

If you're using Android device on your phone, I recommend use USB Debugging.
It was happen with me and just working.
