Got an update to Virtual Box today by Linux Lite Updates. Checked Synaptic and Virtual Box is not installed.
Why did it look like Virtual Box was upgraded?  ???

		Hi Coastie,
I noticed that there is a service which starts for Virtualbox even if you don't have/install Virtualbox.
I can only assume it is an integral part of Ubuntu,
and is present in the event that you are actually doing an install as a "Guest OS" in Virtualbox.

		Hi,
You will find it gets installed on all installs.
If you install Boot up Manager from Synaptic,
search for BUM, it's a bit like the Services app in Windows
It allows you to see what's running, and disable things "caution required"

		O.K,
No problem, in Windows there where/are many "background" things that used to run by default at boot,
you could disable some of them to improve performance
