what does that have to do with Linux Lite ?
Would that be more for the Off Topic Section ?
That is great news about XFCE long time in the works.

		Linux Lite  4.4 > test_updates Stright up
It might be confusing for the build for the next LL having Test_Updates.
Have a good one.  Back to the translations at Launchpad   8)   8)   8)

You didn't.. . The new build test updates which i get and bench my processor. . [which is hardware only] .  Its Linux Lite by its self. This gives the build- the ability to see how the hardware reacts to different [test build updates], which reacts differently from one processor and motherboard to another. Nothing implied or suggested..
I have XFCE on two other Linux Platforms as a DE I like the sleek design of the Desktop Environment. Not the flashy KDE look which I have on another Linux Platform.
My self I do prefer the XFCE look. One as you are correct LL. I Have not changed much on LL since the install except the kernel.  LL is the only platform that I accept test updates on.  I have 6 different Linux Platforms. LL is the favorite of all of them being fast, light weight, I started with LL 2.2. Nothing confusing on this end, not updating XFCE in the middle of a build of the new LL- OS . May not make any difference ..It does to me..
Enjoy your new XFCE.

I agree about the KDE Well put I have had some issues with KDE years ago. Like the the resent post from [member=7250]kissbaby3[/member] .  I checked my KDE platform and I have the backport repository which already included the the security fix, which has nothing to do with LL. You Made a Good Choice this is about LL and XFCE. This Post does belong right here where it is.  Could you Post how to install the new XFCE ? I do not do very well on the terminal . I might give it a try.
   Best Wishes

How do you determine what version of XFCE you have installed on LL?
