		There is one more thing you can try, but it is not without risk, do a back up first if you need it as you may have to reinstall.
Open a terminal, do:
and add this:
save, close and reboot.
	
	
Open a terminal, do:

sudo leafpad /etc/X11/xorg.confand add this:
Code:
Section "Device"
            Identifier "Intel Graphics"
            Driver "intel"
            Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"
EndSectionsave, close and reboot.
