How do I get a usb stick with linuxlite 3.4 to boot up on a windows 10 HP?

I disabled quick boot, I disabled secure boot, enabled legacy boot and moved usb/dvd rom to the top of the boot list.. saved that and booted up...it booted from the hard drive. Thanks for you efforts. I do appreciate it.

The only reason I persist is that I know how good Linuxlite is.

I choose usb boot, but the marker stays on os/hard drive boot (not sure of the wording).
