Enjoyed your review as I always do.  8) I don't subscribe but check daily for a new video because you don't have a RSS feed.

I always make my panel clear so my dark wallpaper shows through.

I don't really understand about UEF but installed Linux Lite 2.6 on my recently purchased computer. http://mityer.khdlhfjijfrupr.tk/forums/on-top.../#msg17173

I did have to call ASUS to get help changing BIOS to boot from DVD first. Never had that problem on my old computers. The BIOS looks different so that may have been UEFI  :-\

I really like the look and feel of Linux Lite. I think it's highly under rated. I think if UEFI install was available it would spread like wildfire.

But even without it, it is a superb distro. In the world of ubuntu based distros you cannot do any better IMO.

In my opinion it's a best Ubuntu based distro too. And the most easy to use. Most Ubuntu distributions claim to be a beginner friendly, yet I wasn't able to set up a working SAMBA shares for my PS2. And many things included. I think Linux Lite is the real "Beginner friendly" Ubuntu GNU/Linux system There's a very good help manual, including tools, which make this system easy to use, also preconfigured right-click context menu, like [open as administrator (I missed this one in Ubuntu Unity), or Check MD5]. Even though I like to use terminal, I'm using GNU/Linux since February, and I still have a lot of to learn. Linux Lite made the learning easier.

I think original Ubuntu is beginner friendly for users that just do basic stuff like web browser, music, videos, documents etc... But I'm always tinkering with my system and learning new things, so Linux Lite made it easier.

I don't think beginner in GNU/Linux is able to configure SAMBA shares in Ubuntu with no problem (Even the GUI setup managers didn't work...) But in Linux Lite, it was few clicks with the preconfigured smb.conf and "Network Share Settings" tool.

Underrated distribution and sadly not SO popular as other distros.

So... Just my input. Good review by the way.
