I know... 3.4 is still in the default set up... I had it set to hide in 3.2... Couldnt remember what I had configured when I tested last night and what other items I tested, setup and/or configured...
But its working good, think its a nice add...

		Linuxlite 3.4x64 beta.
Updating:
Got a "Could not fetch updates" error this morning.
Internet connection was ok.
Re-booted and it updated no problem.
No idea what caused it.

Just to say that the 'Lite updates notify' is working fine. Got a message this morning when updates were available, including a new kernel. Updated, rebooted & it lets me know every hour, on the hour, that my system is up to date. I removed the old kernel using 'lite tweaks' after a reboot. There was a quirk in LL 3.2 when I would remove the old kernel by 'lite tweaks' I would get an error message after the old kernel was removed. But, when I would remove an old kernel via synaptic (Linux-headers, image, extra & generic) I didn't get an error message. So it might of been a 'lite tweaks' problem. Not getting that in the 3.4 beta.

3.4 64bit  full install working on 2007  Fuji Siemens Si1520 laptop T7200 CPU  3GB RAM .  Very stable and fast response; been running it for 3 days  - multi tasking  workhorse.  Auto updates OK.  All functions seem to be working.   Great job.

Thus far stable and patiently awaiting 4/1  8).... I did see something software related, although not directly related to 3.4 or the new features. - For an awareness..
Tried connecting to VPN, "Add a VPN Connection" is grayed and not selectable. Command line seems to work in lieu of.
I reloaded beta, prior to running updates "Add a VPN Connection" was selectable, after updates completed again grayed out.
For those using anyconnect/openconnect: In terminal enter the below adding your server in place of SERVER.
Code:
sudo openconnect SERVER
Perhaps a future update will correct but should 3.4 go live this should suffice as a work around..
