I mistakenly deleted the Settings option from the menu.  Please tell me how I can get it back.

Right click the Menu icon on the panel.
Select 'Edit Applications'
A window will open and you should see 'Settings' in the left panel list.
Click on 'Settings', another window will open.
Turn off 'Hide from menus'
