hello... my acer laptop worked with 1 & 2 & 3 linux lite.... would not turn off when I installed 4.0...help

Hi [member=7199]drcrkeller[/member]  This could be a problem with the kernel and power management. See this thread and specifically post #25 for a possible solution to your problem.
