Too Many Ads on Your Site
#1

As a former fan of Linux Lite, I was sad to see how many ads are on your web page. So many huge, blinking  'Download' 'Free Account! 'Click here!  banners across the page, it took me a couple minutes to even find the actual  Download link to your isos.

I understand you need to bring in revenue, but this is too much. It's  a complete turn off--and, ironically, they distract from find out more about Linux Lite. I will not be returning. I wonder how many others have been put off by all these ads.

Hi scubapro28, you don't need to return to the site to get a copy of Linux Lite, there are many online ad-free alternatives.
I do hope you judge our OS not by how we keep the lights on around here, but what we offer in the operating system itself.

I agree with you.
On the other hand, there are expenses to be covered. Now, given the amount of donations and the amount of expenses, please, add that to the obvious fact that Jerry and the team, are working PRO BONO.
Would you, or anyone else do the same, without any funding and also covering the expenses from your personal budget?
The question is retorical.
I had for years more than a forum of my own. I gave up BECAUSE of the expenses.
I do not expect you to agree with me. It is an educated opinion, that's all.

However, you should ponder carefully the following:
