Hello everyone.

Just wanted to say that I decided to cut the Windows cord permanently about six months ago. I have tried many different distros since then. I liked some of them, liked some of them a lot, and liked others not so much. But, when I finally tried LL, I knew that I had found my new home.

My parents fled a world where technology almost destroyed the whole Ba'aku race, and settled a new home out here in "the briar patch" where they hoped to be left alone, and started a new society where technology is extremely limited (my story is here). But they kept some technology, like Mom's old computer. Linux Lite keeps it running like new and it's perfect for all my schoolwork. Linux Lite has become the Official Linux Distro of the Ba'aku colony[/size][size=2em]. [/size]The founders tried several others but like you, they knew they were "home" when they tried Linux Lite.

These forums are great too! Lots of friendly people to help you and even share jokes, music, and fun with. You are in great company here!
