BOINC screen saver

In the official software repos for LinuxLite there exists the BOINC screensaver.
What I cannot find are any instructions on how to activate it. I have BOINC running and BOINCManager. The screen saver does not appear in the ScreenSaver menu as an option. There is nothing I can find on BOINCManager to enable it.
1) Where are the instructions for enabling this in LinuxLite?2) How could this possibly ever get tested without instructions?
