I'm using one of my machines, Dell 531 and I installed 3.0 on it then I notice a shaded line across the screen this machine had a ADM graphic card but I changed it to a Radeon grachip card, R5 / 220, is there anyway to correct this and get rid of this shaded on the screen?
Thanks so much

Long-term support?

Hi. How long will Linux Lite 3.0 be supported?
My favorite distro is Xubuntu, because I like XFCE and it is one of the Ubuntus, which means long-term support, i.e. predictability. I have tried Linux Lite 3.0 for a few weeks, and I like using it mainly because it is user friendly. I'd like to use it long-term, but will it be supported in the long term?

Where do bluetooth downloads go?

I'm new to Linux Lite, but have used Ubuntu and mostly Puppy as far as Linux goes. I installed 3.0 as a dual boot with Win Vista on an eMachines EL-1300G. I'm using a generic bluetooth dongle that I purchased off Amazon. The bluetooth adapter works on Win 10 without issue. I'm using a smartphone to send a jpg over, and Linux Lite gives me an option to accept the file, which I did. According to my phone, it's being downloaded. However, I cannot locate the file. An old thread from 9/15 says that it's in /etc/skel, but I go that folder and I do not see it. I did a file search in Thunar, but do not see it either.
Can someone tell me where the file may be?

Is Adobe Flash Player is a security risk?

This might be of passing interest.
See this video by Quidsup on his youtube channel - some of the technical bits went a bit above my head but the gist of what he's saying underlines what he meant when he said that adobe flashplayer "has more security holes than a collander" and so should be deleted from your computer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyCLMp2rR0c
In another video he expressed the view that though adobe flashplayer was bad enough on windows OS, it was even worse for Linux, as adobe had all but abandonned security updates for Linux....

How do I reinstall LL safely in a win7/zorin/lubuntu/LL multiboot?

My young son expressed a wish to have Lubuntu14.04 & LL2.8 added to his win7/zorin9 dual-boot [see setup (3) in signature below], which I've now done. However, I need to delete & reinstall the LL partitions on this multiboot system.
The situation doesn't seem (at least to me) to be as straightforward as a win7/LL dual boot. With win7/LL I would use the win7 repair disk and enter the commands bootrec /fixboot and then bootrec /fixmbr in the command prompt (X:\Sources>), following deletion of LL using gparted. After that, LL (or another OS) can either be safely added to win7 or win7 simply left as a single-boot system. However, I don't think I can do that here as I have more than one distro booted with win7.
As I wish to remove & reinstall LL2.8 in a win7/zorin9/lubuntu14.04/LL2.8 setup, can I merely delete LL in gparted and then simply reinstall it. As I'm replacing like-with-like, I'm assuming the grublist or win7 bootloader wont get messed up - is this assumption correct or is there another method to do this?
Thanks for any help on this one.
Mike

Linux Lite 3.0 and TRIM

Hi all, since LL 3.0 is based on Ubuntu 16.04 is trim enable by default just like Ubuntu 16.04 is? Just install and LL 3.0 will do the rest?
If it is enabled by default will every brand of SSD get trimmed? I'm using a Corsair SSD.
Thanks.
