| Add CLONING SOFTWARE to LL Live DVD/USB |

One thing that is needed primarily during the minutes right prior to an install.... is cloning software. If you make it easy for people to copy their existing installation before the installer does some partition shrinking, then they are more likely to have done that backup - and be happier if something goes wrong.
Thanks !

Hi,
I'm enjoying the new release. Naturally there are a few wrinkles I'd like to see sorted.
I'm having problems with scrolling in LibreOffice. I'm currently using ThinIce, but every theme I've tried presents no scroll bar steppers. That wouldn't be too bad, but the scrollbar itself doesn't function correctly. When clicking on it, the shuttle, instead of progressing by one page, jumps to the point of the click. This makes where you click the scrollbar critical, and on long documents this is not workable. I've been reduced to using the PgDwn or Ctrl-Down keys.
I've tried to modify the ThinIce gtk-2.0 file, which I did successfully in LL 2.8, to no avail.
One other problem I'm having is that a lot of windows have no handles on their bottom edges for resizing. I have to position the window at the bottom of the screen and then use the handle at the top-right to expand upward.
Be well.

| Mixed language in menu's and applications. |

Okay, here's the deal.
After installing LL3.0 i added my own language to Language acc this: https://mityer.khdlhfjijfrupr.tk/manual/install.html#setlang.
I moved my language to the top, pressed Apply system-wide buttons on both tabs and did a reboot. Instead of changing ALL entries to my native language, i'm now stuck with a system which is partially Dutch and partially English.
How can this be fixed? Or is this a bug? And beside that, why is LL not able to set language right in the first place, like during the setup when you have to select your native language. All other *buntu and *buntu-based distro's are capable of doing so, but LL is the only distro not capable doing this??
But the question remains:
How can this be fixed? Or is this a bug?
Thanks!

Will be installing LL 3 to a Samsung 850 evo ssd. Do I still need to follow the enabling trim guide in the help manual? Or will LL 3 setup it automaticly?

Hi All!
I'm new to this Distro, but have used Ubuntu 11.10 on my 12 year old HP Pavilion ZE4900. Well it didn't run well because an Intel Celeron 1300MHZ processor and 512mb of RAM. I'm really hoping the Distro will meet my needs for now till I get another newer laptop with better hardware. I look forward continuing to learn Linux under this Distro.
