Don't know how many on this board have seen this but I give this high recommendations. This movie brought up so many issues, thought they did a good job on making it.
It's called "Print the Standard", about 3d printing, but it goes into issues about Open Source vs. Corporate, growth in a company, relationships, etc. In my opinion, it is a must watch for anyone interested in Open Source, Startups.
I am sure some of you are going to like it too.

I've encountered a problem with regular updates for LL 2.4 - I am supposedly 21.2 MB short on "disk /boot" for an 82.8MB download and despite following instructions (emptying trash and running sudo apt-get clean) the update insists the lack of space remains.
What can I do?

| Where does one store portable executables? |

I've got a couple of portable executables that I don't know how to integrate into the system. For instance, Palemoon is in a folder. I want to park it in the right place and then create a launcher to it, on the desktop and the start menu, for lack of a better term.
I also have a portable windows executable that I can fire directly, but which I cannot fire via launcher. If I park it at /opt or /usr/bin I keep getting access violations, or nothing happens at all.
Thanks for any guidance.

| Need to authenticate before accessing internal drives |

Is there any way to get rid of the need to authenticate before accessing internal drives after each boot? I came across instructions to alter the /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.devicekit.disks.policy file, but there is none in LL. I trust the setting must be somewhere else.
Thanks,
Paul
